Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Combe Martin Bay has abundance of wildlife to see including oyster catchers, peregrine falcons, buzzards and variety of seagulls to name but a few. Keep a watch for dolphins, porpose, and sun fish also seals may pop up to watch you kayak by.
We have the latest sit on top kayaks available all our kayaks are fitted with Ultimate comfort seats with back support, the kayaks are very stable and easy to paddle with excellent tracking keeping you going in the right direction. We have a range of sizes to suit all paddler weights, sizes and abilities. We only use top quality kayaks and never use "graded or seconds" unlike some other hire firms, our customers safety and comfort are our priority. We will show you the safest areas to paddle in and help you launch if required.
The kayaks come in Single, Double, and Triple sizes. Your kayak will be waiting for you at the waters edge ready to - no having to drag the kayak down the beach!
All kayaks have a weight limit, our sit-on-top single and double kayaks have a weight limit of 16 stone (101 kg) per person.
Buoyancy aids are included in your hire. Wetsuits are available to hire separately from our shop.

Cancellations
Custom Policy
Surfside Kayak Hire reserve the right to cancel a trip or hire because of adverse weather or sea conditions, or for any other safety related reason. In this instance, an alternative trip/hire or full refund will be offered.
For any cancellations at least 2 weeks’ notice before the booked session – 100% of the total fee will be refunded. At least 1 weeks’ notice before the booked session – 75% of the total fee.
Group trips require a minimum of two people to run. Where this minimum is not met, an alternative trip or refund will be offered.
